We have bought an old 14 foot Hix dryer that needs to have one of the elements replaced. There is no model number on the dryer, but 32896 22 ohms is written on the top of the elements. I am including pictures of the top and bottom of the elements, and the dryer itself.

Can anyone tell me how to go about finding the element?

I would call HIX and tell them you have an older 14' unit. I bet they have spare parts around somewhere.

yes, I called them, and they were very nice and they are going to try to find the part even though I can't find a serial number.
