hello everyone
I've been screen printing a while, need to add quality heat transfers to my repertoire!
I've done a lot of research on this forum, seems that oki's c 8800 are the best for laser color heat transfer printing.
i'm having a hard time finding one, and the price is really too high for me at the moment.
it seems the 3400 has mixed reviews, especially for photo printing. the price is VERY attractive, i found an online vendor who has it for 200$.
However, i found a oki 5650 for 390$, and im wondering if there is significant quality difference between the two to justify twice the price.
I have a quality injket i can use for photo quality transfers, but would like to have laser color printer for everything else.
Anyone has used both?
Do photos on the cheaper okis look that bad too?
