Without a doubt I would choose the Roland. Much more versatile with tried and true technology. I don't think that can be said for the okidata.
OKI Data pro 920wt vs Roland VS-300i
I'm getting into the business and I'm trying to decide which printer to buy... Can I please have some advice?

Thanks Charles it been really hard for me to decide between the two, I'm going DTG also but I needed something good for light and dark poly as well.Without a doubt I would choose the Roland. Much more versatile with tried and true technology. I don't think that can be said for the okidata.
We use a Roland for 90% of our jobs, but sometimes find if diffictlt to cut and weed small text for left breast logos. Thats where the Oki comes into use, as its great for small text. Also the Oki is more ecpensive to use than the roland so printing a number of smaller logos on one sheet with the Oki is more cost effective.
Thank you, Can you tell me which Roland you use? I'm also looking to get a Richo dye sublimation printer but I really don't know if I need it because the VS 300i and OKI can do polyester. More advice please...
