We are having an issue with the new white toner and drum we just installed. We get a message that to install the white toner, when it is already installed.

We urgently need a workaround as we are in the middle of christmas rush. I have found the maintenance engineers manual, and have instructions to change the settings to turn off the sensors.

The problem I am facing is that the instructions state to press both the menu + and menu - buttons when turning on the printer, to access the maintenance menu. This isnt bringing up the maintenance menu though, it just goes through to the install white toner error.

Does anyone know how to access the maintenance menu?

Also any alternative suggestions to get the white toner to register with the printer would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

Try this it works with other Oki printer. That is how I reset counters in my printer. Not sure if it applies to C711:

RESET OKIDATA TONER DRUM
1. Turn machine on while pushing and holding the TWO up/down menu buttons at same time.
2. Menu window will show "OKI USER"
3. Scroll to " Engine Dialog Mode" is indicated. Push Enter button.
4. "Diagnostic Mode xx.xx.xx S-Mode is indicated.
5. Scroll to "NV-Ram initial" is indicated. Push ENTER.
6. Window shows "NV-Ram- Initial Table 1".
7. Push ONLINE and ENTER Buttons simultaneously and HOLD for 10 seconds after you see "Executing Reset" appear in menu window.
8. Restart printer.

All toner, drum, fuser and transfer figures return to 100\%.

Can anyone help with my OKI711 Problem Please
I had remaining 3 bars of white toner level. Then I replaced my white drum, and now I lost all my indicating levels of white toner. I continued printing for a day or so by opening up the lid every time, now that won't work either, as it says I need to replace the white toner. All my parts have been OKI
Where has all my toner gone? Does anyone have any suggestions?
TIA
