Okay dumb question but how do you print a t shirt on a diy dtg?

Eight I've finished my tdozer/german 13/spiderx1 dtg printer. I now have a dumb question....how do you use it lol? Do you use the PE sensor when you turn it on? Is the PE sensor the position the print area on the t shirt??

I know it sounds dumb but I'm a little confused and any help would be good
