Ok I know, oh lord she asking another question but I am so lost and cannot figure this one out and little off topic of the neoflex but who better to ask is the neoflex family!

I am a newbie and have been searching for this answer for 2 days now and I am not to proud to ask WTH is going on with my images.

I've just started using Illustrator CS6 and am having problems every time I save to Jpeg or PNG, my image is really pixelated. I feel like I'm missing something really simple but can't figure it out for the life of me! Please help.

Also how would I set up the artboard for dtg printing I have seen so many videos were one says CYMK and the other say RBG and don't click this and click that, turn off the anti-aliasing and have no interlacing or the opposite is there anyone out there that can give me a quick rundown on how to set the artboards up and save the image I know this may be asking a bit but I am so stuck:confused:

if you are printing with Neoflex is better to use Photoshop instead of use illustrator
Give me a call later in a few hours and I will try to help you out. Typing everything out would take forever!!

open the image in photoshop if you have it. you need to check the dpi. it should be at least 200-300. if you are enlarging the image and it turns blurry, then you need to find a better, larger image.

Thank-you Dekay317 if I do not get this figured out you will be getting a call from a (970) area code!

All I want in this image is font so can I do that in photoshop and should it be RGB or CMYK what are the presets it should be on and is this true for Illustrator as well? 8 bit or 16 bit?
RGB always. Email me the file and the details so I can see what's going on.

I wanted to say THANK-you to everyone for their help I finally just said go for it and see what my image look like printed and it looks perfect I think I learned a very valuable lesson quit wasting time on what the image looks like on the computer screen and print the darn thing! I will quit freaking out now! But I bet it is safe to bet I am not the first newbie that has freaked out just not on the forms :) Everyone have a wonderful day!
No matter what program you work within, you will ultimately print as a raster. I use Illustrator CS3 almost exclusively, but also dive in and out of Photoshop in order to extract items i need, add effects or tweak things to suit my design. Anyhoo,...when using Photoshop (raster based) to manipulate, I always think ahead to the size of my printed design in order to ensure that I am playing with images of a suitable resolution. Big rez = little or NO pixelization. I'm know I'm probably being "Captain Obvious" here, but everything generated WITHIN Illustrator is vector based and expandable to the size of Texas without loss of rez. You can get info from within your PC's OS regarding any particular file's resolution. Very often, the sharpness you see on the SCREEN of your PC or while working within the NeoRip software can be misleading, since the resolution of the viewing screen isn't really showing how the image will PRINT. Keep pluggin away and you'll sort it out. We are always here to help. Mobile 903-515-1603, Shop 903-360-6941 !! Best of luck to you and welcome to the Neo FAMILY !
