And that's the question, if you want a classy look on a cap or pocket is there another way other than embroidery? Would be nice to have something you could have a few colors in and have it stick out in a classy way. I though I had found something I wanted to try but don't think it would work and the price on a min order per sheet definitely won't work. It was aquatru but not even sure that was the answer.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. Problem with the patches is that they look like patches lol. I know about the flock materials (have not used them yet) but was looking for something that you could actually put your design or logo on in a few colors with some detail. Maybe I just need to buy some materials and get to trying them out and see if I can get to where I want to go with it.

Got a sample of the aquatru and was going to try and make that work as it had a nice look and feel to it (it is a dyesub block I think) but the amount you have to buy and the cost is not even close to what I would want to spend to try it on something and then if it looks good put it out for sale and see if the idea is selling.

Would like to find something where I can upload my artwork and a company can do the prints then I can press them on as needed. I am really new at this so I will learn but there is a lot to learn lol.

If anything else comes along please let me know.

again to everyone who replied thanks

You can create embroidery look using Drawstitch embroidery effect free software. There use to be CorelDRAW plugin that was from Drawstitch also. The software will do the same like I did in photos below. Click to enlarge. Of course it does not have the feel of embroidery. But look can be deceiving maybe if printed on subliflock.

Just tried the Drawstitch software. Ok, I suppose it's ok for free software, but in my experience nothing compares to the Photoshop Actions by PSDude. I have all of these and they are great for producing stitched-effect images ...

Here's one I did a while ago ...

Note that this is just a Photoshop image, it's not on any real material. I could save it without the blue background to print and press as a sublimated image.
