Well this is a bind!

When I started wanting was a fashion fit, good quality, median priced, shirt. Which is what I still want. I have bought Alternate, Anvil, Hanes, AA, Gildan - and you want to know the shirt that transfers best and does not crack when stretched? Fruit of the Loom. Boxy, ugly, Fruit of the Loom. I have tried the ones they sell in the women's department at Rainbow, I have tried the ones sold at the dollar store - the cheaper they are - the better they seem to transfer!

I have tried stretching, pulling, and 're-heating' with heat press - but it still manages to stretch the heat transfer to the point that you see cracks in the transfer (in the wash it doesn't look good either).

Some shirts are woven better that others, and even though I have gotten the transfer technique down cold - I'm still looking for the 'perfect' shirt.

Any ideas?

And thanks! Jessica - www.hardtimetshirts.com
