We bought a used T-Jet Blazer Pro and have been working on it the past couple of weeks. Initially, after cleaning the printhead based on some of the recommendations on this forum, we were able to get some cyan and black to print. We ended up replacing the printhead because the white was completely blocked.
Since replacing the printhead, we have also replaced the capping station and ribbon cables. We have also checked the fuse and it is good.
We can run a power clean and all the ink flows through all the lines and you can see it in the capping station.
The printer goes through all of the motions of printing, but no ink is coming out. Completely blank. We are at a loss as what else to do. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I take it you bought it from a private party. Did you see it printing before you purchased it?

When you say you have checked the fuse, on what board did you check the fuse on? There are several fuses on this printer. What you want to look at is the F6 fuse on the mainboard. You may need to solder an external fuse to that fuse. You want to use a 500ma fuse in that holder.

We bought the machine knowing that it would probably need a new print head as it had been sitting idle for several months. After trying several cleaning methods on the old head, we were able to get Cyan, Black and a hint of Magenta printing.
After replacing the head, capping station pad and hoses, and eventually ribbon cables we still have no print.
A power cleaning gives us good ink flow through the head (we can see it in the capping station), but a nozzle check or regular print yields no results.

It's always a good idea to replace dampers when replacing the head to insure no build up from the dampers travels to the head. If ink is flowing to the capping just fine then the dampers should be fine too but it may be worth a try to replace them.

OK. Made some progress. After not messing with it a couple of days, I finally went back to work on this machine. I replaced the encoder strip and was able to get it to print. The print was very light and spotty on the color from what looked like ink starvation to me (the ink lines were empty). I ran a power cleaning to prime the ink lines, and now I get no print at all again.
Any ideas?
