Hi everyone - problem #2 of the day - my R-Jet 5 will not print AT ALL.
It goes through the motions, but no ink is coming out. As you may realise, I'm a bit new with this machine....however it's getting beyond a bit of a joke now.
So, I bought the machine not printing white. I changed the printhead, capping station, dampers, flushed it through yesterday and have now put IA ink in it.
I took it to an engineer a couple of weeks ago as I couldn't make any headway with it. He said the ink that was in there before was blocking the dampers. He put another set of dampers in, and assured me that after changing the ink it would be OK.
I managed to get a very faint white print out on the first pass since flushing through and using the IA ink, but now nothing. nada.
There is ink in the capping station and the spit tray, and while the init fill ran plenty of ink was drawn through.
Sorry about the long post, but I am about ready to throw this thing out of the window. I just don't know what to try next.
