Hello,

Recently tried the blue grid paper for darks from Newmilford it was in a multi paper sample pack. I followed the directions that came with the paper 350F/ 25 Sec.
All the whites are gray, the other colors are dull. Is this normal for this paper? I did a search before posting and found lots of information but not this. I emailed Newmilford last night and am awaiting a response . I just thought in the mean time I would ask here. Oh the shirt is Black GLIDAN 50/50 . BTW the image on the shirt feels pretty good. I think I would like this if the colors were correct. I have ONE sheet left and am willing to waste another shirt, I just want to do the correct experiment!

You did not say what printer you used. Howver black is a very dark color and it sounds like the color showed through the vinyl.
Sorry I should have included that information. I am using an Epson R1900 with factory ink. Another thing I left out, I used the hot peel method, just off the press. The whites are very gray, is this normal?

Thanks!

Alan
To sum things up, I am using an Epson R1900 with factory ink. Comercial heat press at 350/25 per the recommendations. Gildan 50/50 ultra blend shirt, The shirt is black. The transfer paper is Newbedfords blue grid. The white space is very, very gray and the other colors are correct but very dull. Did I get a bad batch or is this normal....? Or Could I be doing some thing stupid?
