Newbie question. Selling shirts on amazon

I am researching selling shirts on amazon.com

It appears the best way to do it is to order shirts in bulk from a print house and have them ship it over to amazon's fulfillment center. This way the process is automated when a shirt is sold.

This also incurs a decent sized investment. Has any one done this process of selling shirts before?

What are the pros and cons, things you all have learned from doing this, best practices, etc.

Any feedback would be great,

Apparel resell on Amazon is a closed product area you need to seek there approval first.
You may get that because you plan to use a fulfillment service though they do charge quite a bit, im giving out about 22% of each sale although im not using the fulfillment.
How can you guarantee the shirts will be popular and sell?
In my opinion, Amazon's seller fees are too high. I have sold products on Amazon in the past and when all was said and done, it cost me about 35% off the top on each sale. I have no idea what they would charge for their FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon) service. If you can write good sales copy, or know someone who can do it for you, eBay might be the better way to go.

Just my opinion.
