Good morning!

I'm new to screen printing and was using the Jacquard type of ink but since I go through it so quickly I thought I'd get some "Big boy" ink and purchased a quart of Union Ink.

However, this Union ink is thicker than peanut butter and even when I stir it up some and use it on my screen, it clogs the screen on the first swipe and makes the completely unusable.

Please help! I want to move up and do more (not to mention save some $$ on ink) but this is for the birds!

Please advise!

Depends on the color and "style" of ink. Union's ultrasoft series are very easy to print. The Maxopake line are stiffer, especially the Royal Blue, which is so bad I don't use it anymore. White's run the gamut from Bright Cotton White, which is about the easiest white to print, through some of their other whites, which will give you forearms like Popeye.
