Hi,
I'm very new to forum of any kind go easy on me:),I'm thinking of starting mug printing to earn some extra dosh,But can anyone help me with a few questions I did read that epson were good for thing so i when and bought a S21 (which is still in the box and may be going back),but now read this model of printer doesn't surpport (ICC)?Colour managerment, which bring me to my other question, how can I take someone Jpeg and put it on a mug and get with great looking colours,I will be using Corel X3 and Photoshop is there any easy way of printing a good image time after time so that there look the same without the mine field of colour management to ensure good results without customers being diappointed,I don't fully understand colour management only that it's about the calibrtion between what you see on screen and what you printer, but how you set it up or use it in these programs I don't know I want to keep life simple and get good results,I hope someone can advice on it matter,Many Thanks.

Hi, personally I wouldn't recommend the Epson S21 as it's not a fully supported printer for sublimation printing. It's been tested by Sawgrass and it's not really up to the job (although several people do try to use it will varying success). Getting a picture from jpg to a mug is reasonably straightforward. You'll need sublimation inks which are available from authorised distributors and these will come with an ICC profile for use with the printer you've bought the Easyflow system for. The EasyFlow is the name used for the continuous ink system which has Artainium sublimation ink in it. The ICC profile is linked into Photoshop or CorelDraw and instructions are provided on how to set this up with the ink system you get (all supplied on CD). It's not too much of a minefield!

So you'll need an Epson printer using sublimation inks and a mug press. These together with good quality sublimation mugs will get you going.:)
