Hey,

new to screening and printing just want to be sure i am doing things right, so far half my screens are comeing out good and the other half are horriball,

i recenlty bought the yudu , i also purchased several screens from a supplier and some water ressient emulsion,

1 first apply the emulsion in to the screen both sides,

i immedatly dry with a hair dryer for about 5 mins

i then use the yudu light box for about 11 mins,

where i am confused is the drying time, my first try with the screen i let it dry for one day but when i tryed to burn my image it wasnt holding at all, im almost sure it has to do with being exposed to light, but again i am not sure what are the bais rules i need to know, thanks in advance for your help

Dry at least 2 hours with a fan, but really should be 12-24 hours. If you are located anywhere except a desert locale then a dehumidifier is a great help. What is you exposure equipment, and exposure time, emulsion brand and type, as well as mesh count. So many variables are at play in stencil making.
