What type of transfer can I use that heatpress a photo that would come close to the feel of direct garment printing? I will be only be working on a heatpress and will be pressing on fleece sweatshirts and cotton tshirts

What kind of printer are you using? I've used a large roland that we also use for car vinyl wraps and found great paper/inks in the fellers catalog.

Don't have a printer but open to suggestions

The printer/ink/paper/press are all very important elements. Take your time and research before you invest. Determine what your needs and budget are and go from there. Consider the material you are going to print on, how long you want it to last, the colors of the material and so forth.

100% cotton is difficult to print on and you can find many great long-lasting solutions for 50/50 blends.

My concerns are currently with the fell of the garment. I don't want the paper feel to the garment. Trying to come close to the DTG feel on the shirt just don't know where to start.

Sorry for the slow reply. Not sure why I didn't get notified of your message. You don't need anything special for TAP Paper. A home inkjet should be sufficient. I use an Epson XP-202.
