Hello everyone!
I live in USA and I'm working with a company located in Pakistan that makes cotton goods (t-shirts, vests, underwear etc.)

I want to know how to get orders from local companies (in USA) for cotton goods. I'm very new to this and from what I've looked up the online directories like alibaba, madeinchina, Import export directory are already saturated with suppliers.
Is there anyway I can use the fact that not only I'm physically present in, but also a US citizen to my advantage?
Thank you so much for reading through my post and I appreciate any help and advice you guys have to offer.

Use the fact that you're here to your advantage by going TO your potential customers, instead of waiting for them to come to you like the sites you referenced. If you can compete on price, you can easily snatch up anyone currently using sites like alibaba because most of us prefer the personal touch, we only use online sites because they have the best prices.

What Rana's doing is being the middleman, buying in bulk so he can wholesale it to us here in the States so we don't have to buy in excess quantities. As long as his wholesale prices are competitive, the end buyer don't care whose tariffs are what...
