I have been lurking on your forum for a little bit now. Thanks for everyones input. All your opinions about the different machines have really helped me.

I am ready to buy a machine, but now I am trying to find the right one. There are so many out there, that it's overwhelming.

I have a plotter already, so I just need my heat press to apply my designs. I want a swing-away and one that is big enough to do adult shirts. My budget is $500-$600. I want a good machine at a good price. I want one with a timer too.

Is digital a good thing to look for?

What is a good machine to start out on?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all your help

For your price range $500-$600 you should be able to buy a nice press (or a name brand used press), yes digital controls are nice, along with the auto open feature, you'll want a 16x20 press to accommodate large adult shirts.

Hix, Geo Knight, Stahls Hotronics....are all good name brands presses.
