Hello all,

Found this forum by accident and have since lost several hours browsing all the amazing information available.

I am a home crafter who has got into t-shirts by way of card making including digital cutting. I generally use Inkscape and Signcut pro to design and produce items. I also use Photoshop for images and have masses of other software including Funtime rhinestones.

I have been experimenting cutting vinyl and applying to tshirts with my home press, 25 years old and going strong - the press not me. Anyhow then I decided I wanted to apply rhinestones and have been dissapointed with the results. Some just drop off, looks like I need a heat press but the prices are quite scary for someone who doesnt yet have an established business

One slight frustration is a lot of the referrals are for USA bases suppliers and though I have discovered the UK part of the site there it just seems that all the things that really grab my fancy are from the USA.

Thanks to all the contributors who are freely giving their time and knowledge to newbies like me, it is really appreciated

Looking forward to gettting to know you all

thanks

Hi,

Glad you found the forum. Is a great help to me. Am also in the uk. Have got DTG and am doing sublimation.
There are some great companies in uk also selling heat presses. Like novachrome or xpress. And loads more.
I have found some brands of rhinestones seem to fall off. You may simply need to change brands is worth a try?
And good luck with what you are doing.
