At the bottom of the Quick Reply box is a link with instructions: Need to Upload an Image? That will tell you the specifics. The short story is you can do it from the Advanced reply box, which you get to from the Go Advanced button by the aforementioned link.

I'm new to this site. I want to add an image from my computer to a post. How do I do so?

click the 'go advanced' button below the 'quick reply' box, scroll down on the next page to 'manage attachments' browse to file and upload.
