Our company is a contract house for Embroidery,DTG(Brother) and Screen Printing. We were approached by Kornit with the interest to purchase a DTG 932.

We tested the print on a White tee and Black tee, and both garment images were fading after 15 washes.

How can we justify paying 95k for this machine?

after 15 washes the brother would to...
DTG prints can't last forever ha and it is due to fabric fibers lifting which give fade look
Unless you are using a solvent based garment ink, won't last more than 15 plus washed...

Actually After the 15 the brother don't . We have a Brother in house and we don't see much fade after 20 washes.

If all variables our in place properly the brother print last a loooooooong time. We own Brother Printers and I must say thats one of their strong points.

I myself with my hm1 also have great lasting prints. I dont have any issues with my prints lasting much longer 15 washes expecially ones with white ink, as the original poster is asking about in his title.
