I put this short video up today. For many designs you can do your film output without investing in an expensive wide format printer. - https://youtu.be/mO6Xrd8iLSQ

For a simple design like that, why would you go through all of that work when you could just print out the bottom of your design on a separate page and line the design up that way. Looks like trying to line up the two pages like that is a whole lot more work than necessary.. Just asking..Aloha
I did print it on a separate page... I didn't understand your question... (Aloha - Konawaena HS class of 1979.)

Kewl, I was just curious as to why you would go through all the trouble of lining up the design using the claws in the graphic instead of just lining up the bottom words of the image to the top of the image. I have tried to do what you have done for larger format pics, however there always seems to be a slight gap or something that goes wrong when trying to line it up. and Aloha to you!
The reason I line them up this way is to insure that the bottom piece lines up perfectly with the top piece rather than risk it being slightly crooked or slightly off to one side or another. This is especially important for designs that have straight lines of traditional type where the smallest variance in angle or shift in position can result in the bottom being noticeably crooked as compared to the top. By getting in the habit of lining up all spliced designs carefully you'll be sure that the finished result will be just right.
