Hi Everyone,

My name is Candace or Candy as my mother used to call me. A couple of years ago I designed a t shirt logo for a party that a little town was going to have. I ironed all these t shirts cutting out the pattern and then the name of the event and date and the town. It was plain white t shirts and a black lettering. That was in 2009. I ironed o at least 50 t shirts. I was ready to go into the t shirt business then I thought but it rained the day of the event and the t shirts turned into tie dye shirts. I was so embarssed by it. They want me to do the t shirts again this year and with your help I can hold my head up high this year. I've got a heat press this time and I just need to either get the letting and the logo printed out on good transfer paper so it won't bleed into the shirt if it gets wet. Or get it cut out in one piece by someone else and press it on like the shirts from the rodeo's or fairs.
I'm also a wife, grandmother to 3 grandchildren, I own a clinic for women and birth control. I'm also going to college online for accounting. I'm working on my Bachelor's degree in accounting now after receiving my associates last November. Thanks everyone who read my posting. I feel really good about finding this site it was just what I needed to find. I want to learn to do this on my own so I don't have to ask for help. So nice to be here with all of you, look forward to getting to know all of you.

Sounds like we are pretty much own the same path...sorta. LOL

I recommend that if you ultimately want to do it on your own, find someone with a good color laser printer if you don't already have one and look into the Self-Weeding Heat Transfers like Imageclip by Neenah. This help with the cutting as you don't have to cut anything and they have a variety of types for different jobs.

Mainly, before you do this, research what you can. That's where I'm at and I must say I have a good mentor helping me make rationalized decisions. This will keep you from having the same issues you have had before. Hope this helps.:)
