Hi everyone,

I stumbled upon the forums, looking for information on dye sublimation and screen printing.

Graphic design/art is more of a hobby if anything, and I'm wanting to try my hand at making some shirts.

There is much to be learned....

So after many months of just lurking, and working on graphic design, I have finally took the leap and made my first shirt yesterday.

I picked up the Speedball Fabric kit from a local art store the other day, and overall I'm pretty happy with the results.

I'm using a pretty ghetto light set up, and I had to redo the emulsion on my screen because I underexposed it and used an underpowered bulb.

After researching on this site some possible fixes, I swapped in a brighter flood light bulb, changed the placement of my light source, and the screen burned perfectly!

Took a couple test passes on paper, to get used to applying the ink down evenly, but once I was comfortable with my tests, I moved onto my first shirt.
