Hi All
New to the site and new to sublimation, the strangest thing happened and I can't explain. First of all, I am doing sublimation with a Epson wf7110. I decided to do the cartridges, instead of the cis system for now. But anyway I put the cartridges in. Waiting for it to say, do you want to continue and of course I would say yes. But it did not ask me that. I thought that to be strange. In fact no error message at all. The printer goes thru the motions to print, but nothing comes out. (Just blank paper) comes out. I looked at the ink level, it was full. I looked at info on the ink and it said Epson genuine ink. Can somebody please tell me, what could be going on.

Did you remove the "plug" in each cartridge and did you do a few head cleanings?

sorry I took so long to get back, messing with this all day. The cartridges I was using was not working right, by the way the printer I am using is not new. Just a couple of months and I just converted to sublimation. Was not ready to buy a new one just yet. But anyway the cartridges I was using for my Epson printer was working fine. I flushed them out let them dry and put sub ink in them. This is what I have so far.

Well the cartridges worked out, I made my first cup. Don't have a ICC profile. I just used my printer setting and I had no problems. I made a cup with a picture on it with me and my son. I think I need to try different sub paper. Yes sjidohair you are right, I love it already.

Trial & error. My print outs always look lighter than the heat press results. Document everything you do for reference. I don't use any color profile program, but I have a list of my brightest spot colors & have done enough printing to know how to fine tune photos. You've got to expect to make some mistakes since so many variables come into play. Good luck.
