Hello Fellow T-Shirt Forum members,

I have a new t-shirt design business and I'm just starting out in a sad market with not a lot of screen printing experience. I have a degree in graphic design, but it seems that I can't find a job without solid experience, or I just live in a bad part of CA where GD jobs are almost non-existent. So, I got back to my roots in illustration design.

My business is named Off-Road Styles (offroadstyles.com) and I'm centering it towards off-road enthusiasts or just someone who wants a cool looking off-road graphic on their shirt.

I hope to learn a lot in this field, with some help of course, and become a bigger business eventually, or be a steadily self-employed artist, or just get a job...somewhere.

Sincerely,
Offroadstyles :)

You could always start off by having a local shop print your shirts, rather than buying the equipment yourself. Test the waters...see if their is a market for your designs. The end user will never know.

Hey, I checked out your site. Nice. My advice would be to just hold steady and build up your customer base, expand your services to the best of your capacity. If you do good work, they will come. I would also say to just research and find out other avenues where you can market your business. I would read articles and get in touch with companies to see if you can sell your work in addition to selling online.
