The site looks really nice. Your main site blends very well with your Big Cartel shop.

If you cut your background image into a slice that can be repeated horizontally you can save it at a higher resolution and it will look crisper

Then save the blue splatter as its own PNG and lay it over the background centered... that way no matter how large the screen resolution gets your background will always stay centered and will always fit the screen size

Everything looks good, but on the front page things get a little messy. There are simply too many “calls to action”. Twitter, newsletter, facebook, slider with news, apparel, boards, riders. It's simply too many actions crammed into a small space.

Try moving the elements around, or simply adding more whitespace. I would probably just move the social links to the top of the sidebar and call it a day. A small change, but I think you will see a big improvement if you make it.
