Well I will be purchasing an MP10 this Friday. Have a question....I watched the videos and it says that once the machine is turned on, it has to stay turned on continuously. I thought as long as it's plugged into the wall and you turn it off at the end of the day, it would do the auto maintenance....
Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

I was told Saturday at I.S.A. Orlando that the MP10 was on about 30 day lead from time of payment. So luckily you got time to get all the questions you have answered.

I leave mine turned on all the time. I do not believe it will run the auto maintenance if it is turned off.

We have a M10 Anajet. We leave it on all the time. If I am not using it I still do a nozzle check and head cleaning if needed each day. I also do a maintenance cleaning each week.

you would think that they would make the machine with a sleep mode or something that would run when the machine is shut down, but still plugged in. Seems like an awful waste of leaving the machine running all the time. Especially with power outages and power surges-of course it will be on a surge compressor but still.......

you're talking about a very, very small amount of electricity to keep your $30k printer healthy condition. i leave my computers and printers on all the time.

Keep in mind that Anajet uses "dog years" calendar. 1 month = 6 months.

haha, nice. Although, we ordered our MP5 at the end of Feb and received it on 18th March, 2 days before due date! Not only that, we are in NZ! Was very impressed. Support is also great.

We have an MP5 and leave it on all the time, as instructed by Anajet. If you turn it off, it has no power going to it. If it had a sleep mode, it would have to reinitialise every hour to do an ink cycle, waste more power with the reinitialise, hence, leave it on.
