bottom roller moves but only when pinch roller are up, when i lock down roller on vinyl bottom roller stops movingThere is a possibility that the bottom roller is jammed or there is something wrong with the motor. Have a look at the bottom rollers and see if there is any material around the roller axis that may be causing the roller not to move.
im not sure how to check thisOK, please check the top roller and see if it is free to spin. It sounds like pinch roller may be restraining the bottom roller.
ok they do spin freely when in up position, but i thought i was supposed to lock down on vinylThe rubber roller wheels should be able to freely spin (with your finger) when it is in the up position. Check them all with your finger to make sure they all freely spin.
wow i just got it....and gotta send it backIt is supposed to lock down on the vinyl but if the bottom roller isn't free spinning when the wheels are down it could be that the top roller (pinch roller) was the cause. This does not appear to be the case.
So if your bottom roller spins only when there is no resistance against it this could be a faulty motor, a bad motor belt or the belt may need to be retensioned or less likely, something with the motherboard.
i had a silhouette cameo it was not cutting properly plus it was so small....i thought i was upgrading going with mh 36"What happened? Do tell!
