Hello my name is Shaun and I stumbled upon this forum looking for a solution to a problem with my DTG printer. I was able to locate the problem and find a supplier for parts to fix it. Since this forum helped me, I thought i would join and possibly help someone else.

Welcome to the site!

That's great you could fix it!?
That remains to be seen, but I was able to find the problem, and order the parts. Weather it works when i am done is another story. If it fixes the problem somone is going to get a DTG Kiosk with a new print head.... cheap. Ill stick to embroidery and vinyl. I never had much luck with inks. I am terrible at daily maintenance.

I have been looking at the DTG Kiosk online and spoke with a rep...sounds like a lot of tinkering maintenance to me, is it worth the shirt outcome? Has it been more of a pain than benefit?
Its not the fact its alot of maintenance, its the fact you cant miss a day. We didnt use ours alot, and spent more time cleaning it and flushing it than running it. When we ran ours it made money. If i had the work i would probably keep it, but with our shop being as small as it is, and there being only one person most of the time its hard to keep all of this equipment running. 10 minutes of maintenance isnt much when your gonna use the machine, but if you dont use it after a few weeks you have hours in a machine that has made you no money.
If you have the outlet to run it, it does make money. Im sure if you have read around this forum you know all it takes is some maintenance and they run flawless. If your seriously considering one, read around especially the post about where machines dont work. Most of the time you find things you cant or shouldnt do. My only regret is I have already done all of them and just found this forum today.
