Hello everyone, I live in Northern Virginia. I am addicted to T-Shirts and I thought it would be fun to learn how to design them for myself so I'm a beginner. After Googling everything about T-Shirts and not coming up with anything really interesting, I joined the forum because I think I can learn a lot here. :)

Not sure if you are on Corel Draw or Illustrator. If not, start out with InkScape. You can install from InkScape.org This is free vector art software. If you would like a quick demo PM me and I can show you how to vectorize and manipulate the vectors. If you go to Help in InkScape there are embedded tutorials that are very good.

You will need a vinyl cutter, a heat press, heat transfer material and a few other odds and ends like weeding picks, squeegees, etc.

Hello everybody my name is Christy and I live in Memphis, TN. I love the art of t-shirts and I am very addicted to different styles of t-shirts and I would love to start my own t-shirt business. I have googled a few things and it seems all so overwhelming to me and when I saw this forum I just knew that this would be a good start for me. I would love to know more about the heat transfer printing, and what materials are needed for an beginner but with big ideas???
