Hello,

My name is Kelly and I am new to blogging and t-shirt printing. I opened a shop in July of 2011 with a DTG printer. I am finding that printing on dark colors is cost prohibitive so I am looking at adding Heat Transfers to my business. Thought I could join this forum to help in my desicions making. Plus there are times I need to find certain shirts, etc. I'm hoping I will find help in the industry and hopefully will learn enought that I will also be able to help others.

Test, test, and test transfers before going all out. Most companies will send you samples, those who don't you might not need anyway. But, try different companies until you can narrow done to just a couple that work for you.

Transfers are a good alternative on dark shirts. Cold peel works well since all ink stays on the shirt producing a more opaque image.
