new member, new to heat-transfer film

This is a great place to learn lots of tips and tricks. I started about this time last year. Its been a lot of trial and error, but once ya get the hang of it its pretty easy. Which cutter/plotter are you using? which films have you tried?

I just got my cutter, a 34 inch US Cutter MH-871. I haven't tried it out, yet, as I don't have a clue, yet. I have ordered some siser easyweed stretch to start with . It has not arrived, yet. I am a photographer so, I am very familiar with photoshop but, not so much with illustrator. I do embroidery , already and have a heat press, too. I have been pouring over you-tube videos trying to learn .

When you are setup and ready to cut let us know if you have any questions. Welcome aboard.

That's what I did. So thankful for YouTube videos and all those that contribute. Best education I ever received was from Youtube. Be brave and just go for it... Oh and don't forget to MIRROR! Good luck and let us know how it goes.
