Greg, I kinda think it looks a little "clipart-y". I like what they have but can see that being a bit difficult to work with. Is there anyway to tweak what they already have to be more "medium" friendly?
??????????Yeah, I agree with Bobbielee.
I agree with Michael on this one...Their logo has a nice flowing feel to it and I honestly wouldn't change it.
Yeah, I agree with Bobbielee.quote]
I think you have too many women on your mind.![]()
I think they are both saying they like theirs better. I also agree., but I guess it is up to them, let them see it and they can decide. So both of you like the word document with the silhouette of the horse and cowboy better? Since both didn't appear I'm not sure you knew which was mine and which was theirs.
I can probably tweak it once I see what they actually have for artwork. It looks like there are so many colors in the leaves that it may be difficult and costly to print. Especially since she is not talking about a large quantity of shirts. screen printing may not be cost effective. I did hear back from her and she wants to stay with her logo since it portrays the human/equine relationship she is trying to portray. When I look at that design, I think it looks too old fashioned and outdated. When you google riding stables, or horse ranches, the logo images are more of what I came up with, but they are the client.

Yes, mine is the more graphic logo with the line art of the horse above the lettering. To be honest Kelly, I was very confused at first because I've always valued your opinion, but when you said what you thought was my design was cliparty, I was somewhat taken aback. Yes, I can send it to someone to have it done, as that will be my only option, really. I'll have to charge her to have it cleaned up since I believe she only has the artwork on this word document. Since I need samples for upcoming shows and business expos, I'm going to change the name and create some samples to display. I like the design and think other people would like it also. Now that I know you thought hers was mine and vice versa, I can go back to thinking very highly of your opinion. LOL. Do we call you Kelly, or Bobbie Lee. Bobbie Lee is kind of a cool name for a girl so you might consider a name change.
Big question is did they ask you to change the logo they wanted printed?
I agree change a logo is sometimes very offensive, Some people consider their logo as a portrait of their business. If you change this you are trying to change how they look. I have found it 's far better to give them exactly what they ask for. ... JBBig question is did they ask you to change the logo they wanted printed?
Even though your logo looks better, sometimes offering a different version can insult a client who just wants printing, not design advice.
Sometimes they do want design advice, so just be sure to approach it carefully![]()
It's hard to say what the issue was, but I guess keeping some of the original design would have been politically correct( even if you think it's bad).I have re-produced some hideous designs that customers truly loved.Even when they ask for help,I think they want someone to cosign on their design. Again this is a tough area and it can be a no win situation. I think ,I would have made a few designs for them to pick from. I would have changed parts of the original and then provided a totally different design. I think your design was much better, but our opinion's are not the one that matter. ... JBYeah, but they asked for help here... so it's not an issue... they just decided to make what they have work...
Greg, at least you got a nice sample piece out of it.![]()
