those are good questions which i wish i would have asked planning is everything and I will try to do my best to answer them
1 ebay is good but in order to get a store you need to sell atleast 100 products a month just to get one and by the time your done paying for ebay they will end up takeing atleast 15 percent from you that's alot and the starte plan cost as much as most websites but on the other hand if you have your own site make sure you can design it or pay someone too.
2 as for payment most use paypal it is actually a little cheaper then most merchant accounts easier to get and the price starts from free to 38.00 a month you will have to check their site to see what is best for you
