New In The Business! Could Use Advice

Hi everyone. Was hoping I could get a few expert opinions!

I'm new to the tshirt/heat press business. I purchased a heat press and will be printing designs off my home printer. I have an HP 3310 which has 6 seperate Vivera ink cartridges. I plan on starting off simple - just making 50/50 or 100% cotton (which is better?) white (or light colored) tshirts.

Where I need help is in transfer paper. I'm hoping I can find a commercial grade paper that will feel "soft" after the transfer is heat pressed to the tshirt. What's the best paper and where can I find it at a reasonable price? I found a company on Ebay selling commercial grade transfers for light fabrics. I'm just leary about ordering these since I really don't know much about transfer papers yet. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&item=140035480728&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

ANy suggestions? I see hot peel - cold peel.... miracool... ironall.... It's all so confusing to me ! Can you tell I'm a newbie? :)

Also - is there anywhere that I can buy good quality tshirts at bulk prices?

Thanks so much to anyone who can help ! I'm so glad I found this forum... I'm sure I can learn alot by just reading through the posts... (haven't gotten too far yet.)

AND TO LOU - THANK YOU FOR THOSE WONDERFUL INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS!!! You have no idea how much that helps new users like me! Thanks for taking the time and helping us out.

The suggestions you've probably already read are the best ones :)

miracool / ironall paper are both the same thing. newmilfordphoto sells it as well as a few other sources.

Here's a couple of past threads with wholesale sources listed:

ironall is great.. Also, Soft-feel from powerful papers. Thanks for the kind words about the videos. The 6 color Vivera is over kill though..
The MiraCool, IronAll, and SoftFeel papers are the same thing, as Rodney and Lou said. Basically, this paper will give you a very soft hand on the shirt, but it's often tempermental and a bit of a pain to work with.

Another very popular paper is the Transjett II paper, also known as Magic Jet. You can get this paper from TLM Supply House. It won't be quite as soft as the MC/IA/SF paper, but it is a lot easier to work with and the colors should also be a bit more vibrant.

I would suggest getting some of both of these papers and see what works best for you.
