Hello. I'm new to this forum but I've been in the decorated apparel industry for 16 years. 11 of those years have been spent with a large apparel decorator. We have about 70 artists all on Macs. Most of my time has been spent on the screen print side as an artist and in R&D. For the past two years I have been the Production Embroidery Design Manager. I supervise a digitizing staff of 7 and an art prep staff of 4 along with two sourcing coordinators. I'm currently looking for freelance opportunities I can do from home. Being a supervisor I don't get to actually create much art. Although I am enjoying learning about embroidery, my heart belongs to screen print.
