New guy saying hi

Hi everyone. My name is Mike and I live in Austin Texas.
For the past ten years I have been building bikes but with the move to Texas I have little space for all my equipment and while basically on vacation i decided to get outfitted to print tee shirts.
While I was working my metal shop I had used a single station screen printer to make shirts for my shop and remember being amazed at how much money it would bring in so I decided to take a break from metal working and currently getting equipment for screen printing.

Thanks guys, Mike

Currently I have a Ryonet silver press and a home make exposer unit, and yesterday I received a vastex d100 which I was tickled over haha.
I am looking at a rototex eight head press used or a new m&r kruzer 6/4 but not in a huge rush since I still need a printer and some rip drivers.
I plan on using a Roland color camm to do my negatives at first but still need to get supplies.
If I can post pictures I will as I found a sweet stand for 27 dollars at harbor freight that fits the vastex d100 like a glove so that may be a good alternative for others to get since the stand for it is around 190

Well I'm still accumulating equipment and almost ready to start slinging ink (yay)

I was going to buy a M&R Kruzer for $3,000 plus tax but did a last minute search on craigslist to see if there was any potential on there and ended up driving five hours for a Riley Hopkins 6/4 printer that came with 20 squeegees, 9 screens, flash drier, digital heat press (not sure If I will use but eh) and a washout booth with a hot cold faucet and back lighting for $2,100.00
I felt like since I needed the washout booth and flash drier and saving over a grand up front it was a better deal for me.

Next major deal is to find a place to store all the Motorcycle jigs and metal working stuff so I have room and I'm ready.....

Well I am getting ready to make a pre-registration platen to use air for the hold down to transfer method.

not sure if anyone is in need or wants to see it but I'll start a new thread with in in case it can help someone or I fail lol.

Also thanks for the warm welcome guys, lol... Almost two years now, I think the crickets have even left. :(

Just a update on the thread here since it is so popular haha.
I updated my exposure unit to a ranar LED which has worked really well for me so far.
