Hey guys, I'm having a problem that just popped up last night.

I turn on everything as normal. Do a few head cleanings as normal. Load my platen into the printer and load it as normal.
I press print and I get the sound (on my computer) like it is shutting down, immediately followed by the sound of when it's connecting. Then it starts moving the platen like it's going to print normally. Then the tray stops just before the print is about to begin. The print head goes to the far end of the printer then back home. Then all the cart lights blink rapidly and the error eject button and power button blink in unison.

I didn't think about it last night but can this be the waste ink counter?
Should I uninstall and reinstall the rip?
Any suggestions?

Joey in our Support Department does not think it's the waste ink counter. You can certainly reset it since resetting will not hurt the printer. He suggests you check the printhead ribbon cables for burn marks at the printhead connection since the actions of the printer suggest that could be the problem.
