New Corel X4 User - Text Question

1049 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  vgary
I am a new Corel user (have used Adobe PS for years) and am trying to convert a Briskola font into a single wireframe that I can cut with my cutter. This script font overlaps letters and I need them all to "weld" or "combine" for a continuous flow for the cutter and I don't know how to do it. Any help?

first convert text to curves, then break curve apart. Then you can select each letter using the pick tool and select the weld icon, 1st one on the tool bar. Hope this helps.
I agree.. basically highlight the text >right click> convert to curves
OK, I got that part, but when I change to regular view the space in the scripts disappear, become one blob. Like the space in "b" or "d". How do I clear that out?
Never mind, got it! Combine! Thanks SO much for your help.:)
