I just received an email from Corel inviting me (and hundreds others) to a webinar today to "introduce our most powerful version yet" They have two sessions scheduled...one is already over...the 2nd is at 2PM EDT....I hope to be able to sit in...

Cesar....they might make an offer you can't refuse to upgrade....or it may not be worthwhile to upgrade to the first time out...as there are usually bugs to work out

Ha! I'm fine at PS 7.0 and CorelDRAW X3 and was well and dandy at CD9. Still would be except X3 was a (legit) gift from a customer

When you sell a product at 1/2 price and sell 1/2 the number of units versus Illustrator, they may not have enough money for R&D....

Its an awesome product, and I love using it.. but I donno what it is.. I guess its like any other windows product..

After using Corel Draw since about 1995, one thing I have learned is that the odd-numbered versions have historically been better than the even-numbered ones. Reseasing X6 means Im that much closer to X7 lol

It's a shame but Corel has well earned that reputation. The best new feature would be stability. But don't count on that one. Especially not if you're imagining using Photopaint. LOL Truth be told, X5 (only after service pack 3) is the only stable version of Corel anything I've ever used since I started with Corel in 1993. I don't understand it. Draw suddenly became stable with that service pack. Photopaint still crashes just by the mere opening of it let alone trying to do anything, but they did something with Draw. Seems like I'm the only lucky one though.
