I still think Brother has the advantage of printing white and color in the same pass as well as the capability to print them separately if the images contains a lot of white and need time to settle the white first before printing the color. it works well on smaller images like front chest position. That alone and the shorter curing time for the Brother inks makes production much faster.It is probably because they are scared that Epson is going to kick their butt.... lol
I don't think that would work for the 381 because of the single pass print.Would love to see a Dual platen system too for production environments
I bought my first gt541 in 2006,I noticed a recent price reduction in our region that could be a sign of an upcoming model. It sounds about right timing in the Brother development cycle.
