You need a design program such as Corel or Illustrator. Inkscape is free and works with vector files which is what you need for cutting vinyl. If you only have the program that came with the cutter you will be very limited. The full Corel program comes with many fonts and clipart. God Bless.

It sounds like you need to invest in a vector based program such as Illustrator or Corel. I have never heard of the free program that Old Jobe mentioned. You will not be able to cut/plot any raster images unless you use a CutContour line. A CutContour line is a vector out line that is used in conjunction with registration marks to cut out a raster image. This is a little more technical. Let me know if you are interested in that process. Good Luck
