So My 10yr old daughter wants to start making sticker and t shirts, DIY fanatic so I bought a used GX-24, a new epson Dx-15000 and a new iMac. This is where the trouble starts.... iMac and Roland don’t want to work together the software cd I have of course isn’t set up for Mac 10.13 I had apple care on phone for 2 hours trying to find ways to get it. Now I’m here, please help really rather not pack up a computer and take it back nor do I want to buy a new cutter. Did I mention 10yr old daughter??? You can imagine the patience level. Thanks for your time and help in advance

install virtual machine, put windows os on and run the cutter and give your daughter one big kiss :D
So went and bought parallels 13 and Windows 10 and the adobe illustrator pack (everything) And installed everything but I can’t get CutStudio plug in to go to adobe
CutStudio is supported up to Illustrator 2017. If you just purchased the CC Suite subscription from Adobe, it's likely you installed Illustrator 2018. You can install 2017 from the Creative Cloud control panel.

I see you went on virtual machine. Finally I helped someone. Damn I am better then apple care :D
Probably you can do it without a CutStudio plugin. Export from the illustrator to the file which cutstudio uses and open it with cutstudio. That is my wild guess...
