neoflex print alignment

here's my problem after around 50 prints the alignment starts to be off about a half inch on all of the three shirts ruining them. I am placing the platents in the same spot every time. What could cause this.
thx:confused:

this a happens on every shirt now, or you can reset it, but after 50 shirts it happens again?

what is the process of when it works vs. when it doesn't. also, is the cmyk layer off evenly, or does the printer stop moving along the base, but keeps printing in the same spot?
This is the second time its happened. The printer still moves along the base it prints fine the alignment is just moved back. I reset the printer and it appears the alignment is back where it is supposed to be. all cymk is even just a half inch or so off the platen. And yes it appears to do it after we run about 50 consecutive prints. Im stumped lol
it would seem to me to be a communication issue with your computer/usb cable and not the printer. just my guess, though.

how long is your usb cable? gold tips? how powerful is your computer? 64bit, how much ram, processor, etc? are you running other programs at the same time?

Its the cable that came with it...8ft I think no gold tips. the computer is 64 bit and only runs neorip. Hopefully resetting the printer has solved it for now just wondering how to avoid in the future. thanks for the help.
i'm totally guessing now, but since a 64bit machine only running NeoRIP shouldn't be a problem, i wonder if it can be related to your virus software. maybe it does some background scans and throws the communication off? as i type this, i'm sure mine does too, and i don't have this problem...

you could try getting a better quality usb cable, but an 8 foot cable should be fine. is it connected directly to the back of the printer, or underneath the front of the bed?
its plugged in to the back of the printer. I just seen that the computer is trying to apply an update. Maybe this could be the cause of the communication error? im installing the updates now and will try another run. I appreciate the time and help.:)

Try these if you haven't already

1. Get a higher quality USB cable (gold plated)

2. Disconnect the PC from the web. Many times I have had an automatic update create problems.

3. RIP the layout prior to printing

what's strange with us is that upon receiving the Neoflex we started using a longer USB cable, because the short one did not fit well with the way our office was setup... but it worked for at least a month... next thing we know the prints are off 1.5" consistently... we went back to using a shorter USB cable and viola, back to normal.....

hope this helps someone in a similar situation...

Ive been experiencing the same thing, after about 3 runs of shirts the printer starts printing like an inch or more off. we only use the computer for the printer and the cables are good, im not changing anything or touching anything, just hitting print and it starts printing off. Its been happening consistently on the start of the 4th run of shirts. kinda of annoying to be wasting shirts like this. this has never happened before till this week.
