Neoflex on White shirts

Due to the summer season coming up on us, we are getting more orders on white tees. Although, the black tshirt prints have been outstanding, I'm not real pleased with the prints on white tees. The prints seem to have a look of being washed 3 or 4 times right off the printer. We are using a 50/50 mix on pretreatment for whites. Any tip or trick for more vibrant prints on white would be greatly appreciated.

get the light shirt pretreat from AA. even when printing in production mode, you still get richer colors. however, i've found that most of my prints on white, while not as vibrant as when using white ink, is still sufficient...UNLESS...you are using spot colors that compares to screen printing or vinyl. jazz up the artwork with effects and color, and your customer won't be comparing the 2 methods anymore.
1. Try Light color pretreat. First 1 liter is free. You just pay shipping or get with next order from us. 052112PT01F. Copy paste to orders@screenprintsupply.com
2. Change 100% cotton? More money?:(
3. Dual CYMK upper part printer. It will speed up more than 2x. If you have lots of light shirts orders your ROI will be very fast. Way before the season ends. Darker and faster and ink saving. Less maintenance.
4. Consider art work change.
5. Pretreat adjustment. More or less.

Thank you guys for your fast response. We will definitely put this info to use, as well as ordering some of the light pretreatment.

It's not a new option ... but it is an option.

Many folks are interested in the ability to print on dark t-shirt, so you tend to hear a lot about the CMYK+White ink set ups.

However, the other option is to go with the Dual CMYK option, which as Peter mentioned will increase your print speed if you are printing on white shirts only.

Third option is the Solvent ink set-up for printing on other substrates (golf balls, pens, canvas, etc).

One of the great features of the NeoFlex is the ability to change or switch the printer quickly (they say it only takes 2-3 minutes), so you really only need one base.
GOOD MORNING neoFamily! Had coffee?
Speed is near 5 times faster. Because white Ink printing is taking all the timing.
Whole dark print time = 4 white ink 1440 + 1 cymk ink timing.720dpi = 5T
White ink 1440x1440 mostly. = 4T = 2x2
Cymk print is 720x720 = 1T. = 1x1
Consider 720=1
but
dual 360 x dual is same as 720 x once.
So speed of dual 360x360 = Dual CYMK. = 1/2 T
But since there are no white under so we need little more ink here. All depend on your choice.
So dark shirts = 5T
Dual CYMK 360 x 360= 1/2T
Dual CYMK 360x 720 = 3/4 T
So let say your image dark printing time is 150 seconds.
150/5T= T = 30 second. X 3/4 = 23 seconds for every shirts. it is by math. I have to make video.
I recommend strongly. Pls understand me it is not promotion.
The fact people ignore. This is why Brother GT white only machine was hit.
Cheers! Coffees are on me always.

Thanks, all clear now.
Good option if when,, busy enough for multiple machine set up.
Having at least one for dual cmyk to speed through the whites/lights.

What about printing w/ white ink with the Neo Sol printer ?

We want to print on Hockey Pucks (blk rubber).
We can have them screen printed first if had to.

That is the trick of hockey puck. Puck printers secret cannot be reveal. I promise not to. You have to find out solution or buy from him. Cheap! Since you are hockey fanatic you will make good $$$$$ & reputation.

Does that mean the neo sol printer has white ink in it ?

If Not,, we continue with screened pucks.
Not much of a trick, we supply the pucks I just would like to avoid the added expense of having them all screened first.
We screen 500 at a time to save cost.
I use a signage pre clean sollution to wipe the pucks prior to printing.
they turn out great. I sell 1,000 a year , not gonna get rich off that but a nice service to add that brings more people in to see what else we can offer.

from a solvent printer Not a Neo solvent though;)
