so, I have a huge order and of course my newo goes down, not printing green. I need this fixed ASAP!!!1

I did a power clean and also a nozzle check, I have yellow in my nozzle check and the nozzles look great. But no green.

No green in my design, turns purple, and no green when I print some green squares.

Suggest printing a square of each cmyk. 100 pure of each. 2x2 inch or so. This verifies that each channel is firing properly.

Getting full color blocks on all cmyk channels.



BUT, I printed this color bar, and the colors are WAY outta wack, like magenta and yellow are swapping places??????



(yeah, I work in ****ty lighting, crappy yellow florsesent bulbs, make pics look like chit, looks ok in here to the naked eye though)

I know this is likely a stupid question but, do you have the right colour in the correct bay slot?

Not a stupid question at all, because your right!

The new intern kid took the colors out the other day and shook them, I told him he only needs to shake the whites. Anyways, when he put them back in, he swapped the magenta and yellow........FFFUUUUGGGGGGGG....ugh.

Kids. I just asked him about it and hes says ooops. Just reamed the kid out, doubt he'll be messing up again.


Welp, anyone else ever have this mistake happen? How to fix? Thanks all.

Guilty easily done when you're not thinking right!

Depending how many lines have the wrong colour in, you'll need to flush out and probably change the dampers - I have managed to flush the dampers too but that's for you to decide.

OK. THANKS ALL!!!!

Im back up and running again. Had to flush yeller and magenta. Then run some squares of the colors numerous times. Its all back to normal now. Yellow is still a little light but I am working on that channel to get it back up to snuff.

Did it once in the beginning and then trained the staff to only pull one color at a time to ensure that it wouldn't happen again.
