Neoflex 2 vs Epson F2000 (print speed)
Hi,
I own Neoflex 2 and considering to add a new printer to the shop.
My question - if any of you guys have both printers and maybe done some speed testings ?
I mean if you print exactly the same image - is there is any difference in speed ?
especially with large prints ( I'm printing a lot of 16x20")

Did you tried by any chance to calculated how much printing the same image on Epson will add to the print cost of Neoflex ?
I understand that the problem is with not only the ink cost, but also filter and cleaning kit.
But if to take all the cost to consideration?

That would definitely depend on image size etc, but on the average I would say about 1.50 per image. We do not use the epson pretreat, and we did switch over to where you do not have to do the expensive cleaning every 30 days (That was a monthly cost in ink of over $120.00)
All that being said, if I had to choose 1, it would be the epson. But we do a heavy volume.
I am in process of trying to sell my neos, and we have a mod 1 coming in this week - (used/refurbished from Belquette)
Also, I have heard that there will soon be a much less expensive ink available soon for the epson - for use AFTER out of warranty of course.

1.5$ is an additional cost to the Neoflex cost ?
If so it a lot ...
So if i understand correctly - if my cost of printing a shirt is a 1$ , with Epson it will be 2.50$
Or I misunderstood you ?
