neo flex bed fault! help

Hi All.

I am having trouble with our Neoflex Bed!

We have had the machine for over a year now, and have been able to over come all issues, except this one.

When u turn the machine on and press start and the printer turns on moves to the back as normal, not for us atm!

It is not moving back at all and u have to mainly push the printer to the rear sensor and forward for it to complete its thing. other wise the printer will not clean.

had a sparky look st the motor of the bed and there is power getting to it and all sensors are working fine.

my question is, could there be a glitch were we have to reload the bed data or printer data for the bed to move back and forwards?

ps it still moves up and down.

please help and any thoughts would be good
thanks

There is a separate motherboard that controls the movement of the bed. Call tech support tomorrow and they will be able to diagnosis it and get you back up and running!
I got in contact with aa but they are very slow on replying back to my emails as I only have had one. not impressed!

thanks though
Why email? Choose slowest communication and possible to get lost in e black hall.
Call them. Keep call if you cannot reach.
I think sensor location should be readjusted.
What is your company name? Where?
Since we do not know who you are please keep let us know until we recognize you.
Cheers! Beers are on me always.
Jan. 2013 my reply to your post.
*****,
Sorry to hear you have error.
How long you had NeoFlex? How many shirts you print with?
What is your company name? Ser #?
Where are you from?
That error is not easy 123 error. You need to talk with Tigers please if you are registered NeoFamily.
Cheers! beers are on me always.
If you go to the rear of the bed, you'll see a plastic see-through panel. Beneath this, can you see any red LED numbers or not? If there's a fault with this unit, they'll be flashing or meaningless.

Hey thanks for ur response guys and yeah emailing is the best way as we are in east coast Australia! time difference is hard too call with in working hours of the day as I am just the employee.

We are Traditional Sign company, based in Mackay Queensland.

I have been been told to check the rear amp by aa and they said as u said john. but my question was is there anyway of fixing rather then replacing the unit? or is replacing the only way ?

ow and there isn't any led lights/numbers

There is a temporary fix for this - get a hairdryer!

Okay, remove the bed, take the metal cover off exposing the unit.

BE VERY CAREFUL AS THE MAINS CONNECTIONS WILL BE EXPOSED

The drive controller will be exposed.

First Option:
WITH THE MAINS SUPPLY DISCONNECTED.

Check the connections are secure. Then switch on and see if the red LEDs illuminate. If not;

2nd option.
LEAVE THE PRINTER BASE SWITCHED ON. BE VERY CAREFUL AS THE MAINS CONNECTIONS WILL BE EXPOSED

Switch the hairdryer to a good warm air and blow the air through the vents on all sides. If the LEDs come on, job done. If not, raise the heat a little.

At first you should see the LEDs flash then they'll come on displaying probably 0000. Job done.

This usually takes about 10 minutes of hairdryer use.

Sorry to be repetitive but this is important to remember. BE VERY CAREFUL AS THE MAINS CONNECTIONS WILL BE EXPOSED

I believe someone else fixed this problem by replacing a chip inside the drive unit. Chaucer @ AA knows which one and I MUST contact him for a replacement.

Let us know how you get on.
