Hoping someone can help... I am using image clip dark... everything looks great on the transfer... then when i press it... there are random pieces of white emulsion around the letters and image. what is causing this? what is the solution? Thanks in advance... wasting a lot of paper and shirts... ugh!

I used to get white specks marrying the A and B sheets when following the directions.
Now I use a similar method as I do with image clip light
I use a teflon pad (fairly thick) and press at 250º using a fairly light pressure for 20 seconds
I then pull the papers out from under the pad, give them about 2 seconds and peel apart slowly, works without any speckles or need to trim any from the edges
Maybe lighter pressure would work without the pad but the pad worked on the first try so I never experimented beyond that.

Hi I am doing some testing here in our lab to see if there is a solution for this. The IC Dark B adhesive is not nearly as hard as the Forever LaserDark B adhesive and as a result it tends to bleed out around the edges. My initial recommendation is to use this for designs that are relatively square with no fine detail and to try pressing it with light pressure during both the A/B peel and initial application and then finish it with higher pressure after it is applied to the garment.
Otherwise you might find the Forever LaserDark is a better fit.

So you think the white bits around the edges is bleed out? it is very frustrating for sure! I tried different pressures, waiting to peel the married sheets... could some of it be printing from Photoshop vs something else?
